Dan Azerval, Principal and Founder of Caneyan Finance
Dan Azerval, 53 years, graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussée, MBA and Senior Board Member of the ENPC MBA. Dan has more than 25 years experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity and Capital Markets, and assumed various positions such as Partner at Bank Arjil and Group Lagardère, Founder and Principal of Private Capital Partners a JV held with Prudential Capital (invested more than 1 billion euros in less that 2 years out of which about 100 million in Family owned businesses holding companies equity or quasi equity), Managing Partners at Oddo and Cie, in charge of Private Capital Founder of Caneyan Finance and Caneyan Investments, previously minority shareholders and Bank Degroof in Belgium and France specializing in Private Debt and Equity Raising for food and family business in Europe.
In his Track record, Dan was involved in about euro 5 billion of debt/equity fund raising and investments situations such as :
- The IPO of Groupe Bonduelle, Private Placement fund raising for Pierre and Benoit Bonduelle shareholders,
- The acquisition and exit of Sagard from groupe Fiaveley,
- STEF TFE transportation company, fund raising and investment in the Holding company with Prudential,
- Bongrain, dairy products, fund raising and investment in the operating and Holding companies Soparind with Prudential,
- Lesaffre, advising shareholders about their exit strategy and Private Placement fund raising for the operating company,
- Roquette, Private Placement fund raising and Equity Linked Product for management and shareholders,
- Various transactions for private equity funds such as the CDC, Qualium, Fleury Michon, Laurent Perrier, Virbac, Roullier Andros

Cyril Kammoun, Advisory Board of Caneyan Finance
Cyril Kammoun (ESCP, INSEAD) began his career at JP Morgan in London in 1996, then in New York, in the Structured Products Capital Markets department.
In 2000, he joined Merrill Lynch in London to head the French Capital Markets division, specializing in the primary debt transactions, equity and derivatives.
In 2003, he joined Crédit Agricole Investment Banking as Head of Capital Markets for Europe and Middle East.
He left Crédit Agricole in 2006 to join the family-owned bank Oddo as Head of Capital Markets and was coopted Managing Partner in 2008.
In 2012, he founded Omega Capital Markets, a company specializing in financial markets and financial engineering.
Cyril Kammoun has conducted multiple transactions for companies of very different sizes. In particular, he advised:
- GAN in the optimization and defeasance of its real estate portfolio,
- Agence France Trésor in the first Credit Linked Notes transaction on the Paris Club receivables,
- Many family companies or mid-cap in the issuance of private debts in the United States: Bonduelle, Bongrain, Roquette, Lesaffre, Mersen, Icade, Vicat,
- Noble Age, Assystem, Compagnie de Alpes ... in the issue of structured convertible debts,
- Biogroup in the acquisition of LCD (laboratories for medical analysis),
- Ludendo in the sale of its subsidiary Hamleys (toy stores) to C. Banner,
- Sodiaal in the refinancing of a €275 million syndicated loan,
- Groupe Bertrand (catering) in the acquisition of the shareholding of Naxicap Partners,
- Sale of Assystem Technologie to Ardian for €550M
